Can I be terminated for checking myself into a drug treatment program?

I live in Missouri and voluntarily checked myself into a drug treatment center. I was never accused of using drugs or alcohol at work and I passed all UA they gave me. Now they say they can tell me because of their "zero tolerance". Can they legally do so? I'm pretty sure is illegal. If you live in an "at will" state, yes. This means you work at will. They can fire you for something that is not protected. It depends on what the written policy states. If it says that a "zero tolerance", they can tell. Even if you have your UAS, you have admitted to using drugs by checking yourself in reading (even if it was smart for you to do, and you deserve to get credit for her). Good luck. Missouri is an employment at will stand. This means that if you are not a part of a union or an employment contract, they can shoot you for any reason or no reason. When you check into a drug treatment program, even publicly admitted having a drug problem, so if you pass drug tests before is now irrelevant People with drug problems are not a protected class by the EEOC, it can be released. uh.did to go on holiday? It is very pertty an admission of guilt. Mzou are employed at will. If they can fire him is not the issue (can). You may be eligible for U / and when they do? Bet you did not so, may terminate your employment because of an "at will" employees. Most states have such "will" clause that can terminate his contract of employment for any reason, but not all actions that constitute a violation of civil rights (ie, discrimination, retaliation, etc.) think the drug problem is a personal problem that is causing loss of time work.I Tell your employer you want to enroll in FLMA (Family Medical Leave Act), due to medical problems and doctors have a license you need help This should cover a couple of weeks. Good luck.
